 36” x 45”

Remember relaxing on the beach, feet in the sand, listening to the waves?  This is a reminder of those fun long days of summer. The quilting is done in a way that enhances the movement of the waves, grass, and the clouds.  The Chairs stand out as I have quilted the outer edges of the chairs and emphasized the wood to enhance that feeling as well.  It becomes a cherished memory of time well spent in relaxation

Fryeburg Fair Blue Ribbon Winner!!!  October 2022.

This panel takes us for a walk.down the boardwalk to the beach.  The fence that protects the sand dunes and its grasses waving in the sea breezes gives a calming affect to the panel.  It reminds me of the warm summer days when I used to go swimming down at the beach.. Does it do the same for you?

Easy way to hang your panels

An easy way to hang your panels is to use a curtain rod.  I use picture hooks that slide into the wall and brace themselves against the interior wall for strength. (See photo 1). I hang my curtain rod onto it.  This method supports a quilt nicely as it hangs.

To attach the quilt to the rod, I use curtain rings (sometimes in the shower curtain supply area)(see photo 2). They have a metal ring with a clip that hangs down from it.  Simply clip it in several places along the top of the quilt and slide the curtain rod through the rings.  then simply slide it onto the curtain rod.

Place the curtain rod onto the picture hooks.    Using this way to display your quilt make it easy to create an accent wall which you can change for any time or season.  I use a quilt for each season in my home and have plans for more to come for the holidays.  I love being able to change the look of the living room n this easy way.. The photos of panels hanging provides an idea of how these quilt panels can be used.
