What a wonderful day yesterday was. Enjoyble time with family and a great dinner. Foot ball games to enjoy, and of course I quilted as we watched the games. It was a great day to just rest, and relax with family. Thanking God for all He’s done for us but also thinking of how much the Indigenous people gave us for us to live in this wonderful country. I’m continuing working on my next quilt that has over 50 different prints/colors. I hope to have this one finished by January. But it will be held out for the Fryeburg fair. I will show it on this site so you can have a preview of it.
My next quilt is ready to be basted so I can quilt that. The basting holds the materials together so they don’t shift as I quilt. I am learning to baste it on a quilting machine this weekend. Something new for me to learn..
Time to continue getting chores done and more quilting this afternoon. I’ll have to see how many squares I can get done today…. Hmm 2 or 3 I hope.
